How are the products frozen?
All of our meat and seafood products are quick frozen by our trusted suppliers. This retains the freshness and locks in the flavour and natural moisture. We store and transport products in freezers so it's still frozen when delivered. We often use some dry ice to keep products colder for a longer period. Dry ice is safe when handled correctly.
How are the products packaged?
All of our meat and seafood products are quick frozen and vacuum sealed into individual portions. This makes portioning for mealtime very convenient and also ensures the freshest possible products and taste. The products are delivered in a 5 lb or 10 lb recyclable cardboard box (which we're also happy to take back and reuse).
Can I order offline?
Yes, contact us and we can take your order over the phone directly. When ordering offline, we'll take all of your usual information and guide you through our products. We happily accept cash, cheque, credit, debit, mobile wireless tap, and electronic money transfer.
How do I schedule a delivery time?
During checkout, there will be an option to specify a preferred time and date. We do our best to accommodate your delivery preference. Please understand that some products and special orders may require some extra lead time from our suppliers.
What if I'm not home?
If you need to change your delivery time, date or location, please contact us.
What is your delivery area and how much will it cost?
The delivery area includes cities in and around the Greater Toronto Area. See this page for more info about delivery and service area. Delivery is always free of cost.
Can you deliver to condos without a concierge?
Yes, please include access code or buzzer code and instructions on how to enter your condo. We prefer that you're available to accept the delivery in person. Please let us know in advance and we can include some dry ice that will help keep your boxes cold.
Can you deliver my package to my condo concierge?
Yes, we can leave your order with your condo concierge. We prefer that you're available to accept the delivery in person. Keep in mind that the frozen products will stay very cold for only a few hours. We recommend putting the contents in your freezer as soon as you get home. Please let us know in advance and we can include some dry ice that will help keep your boxes cold.
Can you deliver to my office or business?
Yes, we can deliver to your office or business (we also do business invoicing)! The products will stay very cold for up to a few hours, but we recommend putting the contents in your freezer as soon as you get home. Please let us know in advance and we can include some dry ice that will help keep your boxes cold.
Can you deliver to my cottage?
Yes, we can deliver to your cottage! We have many customers that have seasonal cottages. We are able to accommodate delivery to your cottage with appropriate lead time.
